After a traffic accident that involved an Audi car and a Volvo truck yesterday evening near Demir Kapija, the police found 14 illegal migants from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq. The men remained at the site of the accident and told the police that they were all driven in the Audi.
The driver of the car and his accomplice had already fled the scene.

Two of the migrants were injured and are treated in the Kavadarci hospital.

Demir Kapija is on the main line of the Balkan migrant route used to transport illegal migrants from Greece through Macedonia to Serbia, and then further north toward the EU member states.
