The Popova Sapka center – one of the two main ski resorts in Macedonia – announced that it will begin the new season on December 15th, with two days of free skiing.
ELEM Tours, a branch of the ELEM state owned energy company that manages the center, said that it has invested a lot in the new season, including a new gondola, and that it plans to keep the longest and most challenging Ceripasina route open – even as it was often closed in past seasons. The company also says that it has two new parking places in place to alleviate the chronic problem with access during the busy weekends.
