Former Minister of Interior and Foreign Affairs Ljubomir Frckovski has been elected by the Government as Ambassador of Macedonia in Washington. As “Nezavisen” has learned, the procedure for securing the agrément has started and a response from the United States is awaited.

Macedonia has not had an ambassador in Washington for more than three years, since the term of the last ambassador Vasko Naumovski expired.
