The Russian Foreign Ministry declared a diplomat in the small Macedonian Embassy in Moscow as persona non grata.

The move comes after Macedonia expelled yet another Russian diplomat in August, citing unspecified violations of diplomatic conduct. These tit-for-tat expulsions have become a regular feature in relations between Macedonia and Russia over the past years.
