Sinisa Ivanovski from VMRO-DPMNE revealed incriminating details about the recent sale of state owned land in downtown Skopje to a private company for a sum of just 7 EUR per square meter.
Plans are drawn up to build a 15 storey building. The price for apartments in this location can reach up to 2,000 EUR per square meter. This means that the SDSM party led municipality of Centar will receive 30,000 EUR for the land that will be worth millions. We ask the developer, if he is aware about the difference between the market price and what he is paying, and whether the difference will be reimbursed elsewhere?, said Ivanovski, alleging corruption in the incredible deal that was signed.
Ivanovski said that the Transportation Ministry, also led by the SDSM party, was involved in this scandal.
