Several hours into the early voting on Saturday, the State Electoral Commission reported that the process is going well, with no issues being reported.
While the presidential elections take place on Sunday, early voting is organized on Saturday for the prisoners, sick and feeble voters who asked to vote at home, and across the diaspora.
Some 1.640 detainees are allowed to vote today, and the number of voters who registered to vote at home is put at 3.583.
Diaspora voting takes place in 32 Macedonian diplomatic missions across the world. Interest was low this year, with a little under 2.000 Macedonian citizens living abroad registering to vote.
