The inaugural Skopje Pride began in downtown Skopje on Saturday.

The turnout of the LGBT population at the parade is rather low, mostly with people from abroad.

Although the parade was being prepared for some time, and the LGBT community was supported by the police, however, homosexuals, transgender people and members of other marginalized communities do not dare, at least for now, to stand proudly – without masks on their face.
