The Special Prosecutor’s Office informed that its disgraced head Katica Janeva is using her summer vacation. The SPO would not inform whether Janeva left the country, but she was photographed at a beach in Greece, with her son Lazar Janev.
Janeva submitted a tentative resignation on July 15th, the same day her close associate Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13 was arrested and charged with extorting at least 1.5 million EUR from a businessman who was being charged by Janeva. Days later she requested a sick leave citing anxiety, as rumors continued to spread that she will be indicted and that she was placed on a list banning her from leaving Macedonia.
