Out of 2,731 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 913 new cases were registered, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
New cases were registered in Skopje-459, Kumanovo-25, Debar-1, Stip-18, Prilep-78, Tetovo-44, Struga-11, Veles-79, Bitola-33, Ohrid-37, Kavadarci-24, Gostivar-9, Gevgelija- 3, Strumica-26, Kriva Palanka-3, Radovis-3, Krusevo-3, Kocani-8, Probistip-2, Demir Hisar-3, Pehcevo-1, Berovo-1, Valandovo-2, Vinica-4, Delcevo- 10, Kratovo-5, Sveti Nikole-9, Kicevo-5, Resen-2, Negotino-5.
The Public Health Institute registered today 421 recovered patients from all over the country.
24 people died, including two patients from Skopje (aged 77 and 67), one from Kumanovo (aged 59), four patients from Prilep (aged 70, 61, 79 and 45), three from Veles (aged 82, 78 and 82), two from Bitola (aged 80 and 62), three patients from Ohrid (aged 67, 64 and 68), two from Gostivar (aged 66 and 68), six patients from Strumica (aged 75, 64, 75, 60, 37 and 61) and one patient from Probistip (aged 69).
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 33,908 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 21,665 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 1,049. At the moment, there are 11,194 active cases across the country.
