President Trump’s long time lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen testified before the Congress on Wednesday, describing his former boss as a racist and a conman and said he’s ashamed he ever worked for him.

I did the same thing that you’re doing now for 10 years. I protected Mr. Trump for 10 years. I can only warn people. The more people that follow Mr. Trump — as I did blindly — are going to suffer the same consequences that I’m suffering, said Cohen, who turned on Trump after facing legal troubles in the broad Russia probe which was initiated against the President.

Cohen could not confirm Russia related activities on the part of Donald Trump, but he is supposed to testify in another, closed door session on Thursday.

Cohen is a guy who is going to prison in two months for lying to Congress. This might be the first time someone convicted of lying to Congress has appeared again so quickly in front of Congress. Certainly it’s the first time a convicted perjurer has been brought back to be a star witness in a hearing, said Republican representative Jim Jordan, in response to Cohen’s claims.
