German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation within the OSCE, despite Russia’s significant obstructions over the past year and a half. Baerbock firmly stated Germany’s refusal to allow the Russian Government’s actions to dismantle organizations promoting peaceful coexistence and collaboration.
Highlighting the OSCE’s unique commitment to the security and prosperity of over 1.3 billion individuals, Baerbock underscored its role in fostering peaceful cohabitation and economic development.
Baerbock acknowledged Russia’s failure to undermine the OSCE as a crucial contribution to maintaining a peaceful global order. Emphasizing the importance of preserving this peaceful order, she emphasized the necessity for the OSCE’s continuity.
