Asked why VMRO-DPMNE did attend the NATO flag-raising ceremony in front of the government building, party vice president Aleksandar Nikoloski told Lider that they are raising a flag because they are not able to open factories.

He explained that first, the country is not yet a NATO member, but it will become the day when all parliaments of 29 member states will ratify the Accession Protocol, which would happen spring next year at the earliest.

The VMRO-DPMNE vice-president believes that the government is trying to manipulate the people with the NATO flag-raising ceremony, but it does not succeed.

They raised a flag because they are not able to open factories. Yesterday there was information that new investment would be coming to Serbia, which was initially planned for Macedonia, but they fled from here, said Nikoloski.
