After days of delay, the Government finally published the list of recipients of the 100 EUR in financial aid that is meant as part of the coronavirus stimulus package. But instead of resolving anxiety in the public, it only added to it, as it leaves out some important categories.
Single parents and artists are not on the list, even though the Government promised that these categories will be included. It’s estimated that up to 300,000 citizens are eligible to receive the modest financial aid, and all who are not included on the list will have a matter of days to seek clarification. But that can’t be done until the full list is published.
Other categories include passive job seekers, retirees with incomes under 250 EUR, elderly welfare recipients, people between 16 and 29 who were not covered by prior stimulus measures and other categories.
