Out of 2,557 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 340 new cases were registered and 2 patients passed away, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday. 56 of the new cases were reinfections.

The Health Ministry added 9 deaths to the report, which occurred in February and in March.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 300,106 confirmed coronavirus cases. The death toll stands at 9,097. At the moment, there are 2,248 active cases across the country.
