Out of 3,082 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 1,128 new cases were registered, the Health Ministry said on Friday.
New cases were registered in Skopje-569, Kumanovo-51, Debar-12, Stip-35, Prilep-43, Tetovo-50, Struga-16, Veles-45, Bitola-57, Ohrid-38, Kavadarci-35, Gostivar-10, Gevgelija-14, Strumica-33, Kriva Palanka-5, Radovis-11, Krusevo-2, Kocani-22, Probistip-5, Demir Hisar-5, Makedonski Brod-1, Berovo-3, Valandovo-1, Vinica-4, Delcevo-8, Kratovo-3, Sveti Nikole-8, Kicevo-27, Resen-7, Negotino-8.
The Public Health Institute registered today 307 recovered patients from all over the country.
12 people have died as a result of Covid-19 related complications in the past 24 hours, including two 44-year-old patients. Four patients are from Skopje (aged 63, 75, 44 and 68), two from Bitola (aged 44 and 72), one from Kumanovo (aged 70), one from Prilep (aged 59), one from Ohrid (aged 68), one from Strumica (aged 76), one from Radovis (aged 58) and one patient from Kicevo (aged 63).
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 37,499 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 22,835 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 1,096. At the moment, there are 13,568 active cases across the country.
