Out of 2,467 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 498 new cases were registered, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday.
New cases were registered in: Skopje-246, Kumanovo-30, Debar-1, Stip-10, Prilep-34, Tetovo-19, Struga-15, Veles-5, Bitola-10, Ohrid-21, Kavadarci-14, Gostivar-19, Gevgelija- 12, Strumica-8, Kriva Palanka-9, Radovis-1, Krusevo-2, Kocani-7, Probistip-1, Makedonski Brod-4, Pehcevo-4, Berovo-2, Valandovo-3, Delcevo-1, Sveti Nikole -1, Kicevo-7, Negotino-12.
17 people died, including six patients from Skopje (aged 66, 45, 77, 72, 77, 67), two from Kumanovo (62 and 58), one from Prilep (78), one from Tetovo (59), one from Struga (81), three patients from Veles (75, 77 and 81), one from Ohrid (69), one from Krusevo (54) and one patient from Negotino (60).
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 82,301 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 60,256 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 2,473. At the moment, there are 19,572 active cases across the country.
