Out of 2,564 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 946 new cases were registered and 33 passed away, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
Among the patients that passed away, nine are from Skopje (aged 62, 62, 63, 67, 79, 66, 74, 81 and 68), one from Kumanovo (aged 70), one from Stip (aged 89), six patients are from Prilep (aged 43, 78, 70 , 82, 60 and 85), one from Tetovo (aged 72), four from Struga (aged 60, 71, 65 and 79), one from Veles (aged 71), one from Bitola (aged 55), one from Gostivar (aged 76), one from Gevgelija (aged 53), one from Strumica (aged 73), one from Kriva Palanka (aged 62), one from Probistip (aged 70), two from Berovo (aged 88 and 63), one from Kratovo (aged 71) and one patient from Kicevo (aged 67).
New cases were registered in: Skopje-426, Kumanovo-36, Debar-2, Stip-22, Prilep-56, Tetovo-46, Struga-24, Veles-30, Bitola-61, Ohrid-31, Kavadarci-24, Gostivar-46, Gevgelija- 12, Strumica-15, Kriva Palanka-5, Radovis-2, Krusevo-4, Kocani-3, Probistip-3, Demir Hisar-1, Makedonski Brod-2, Pehcevo-2, Berovo-24, Valandovo-2, Vinica -1, Delcevo-11, Kratovo-2, Sveti Nikole-5, Kicevo-13, Resen-15, Negotino-20.
The Public Health Institute registered today 789 recovered patients from all over the country.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 63,890 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 40,977 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 1,825. At the moment, there are 21,088 active cases across the country.
