Actor Kiril Pop Hristov returned from exile in Ecuador and was rehired by the Macedonian National Theater.

The well known actor left Macedonia in 2014, after he was arrested for growing marijuana in his apartment in downtown Skopje. The arrest shocked no-one as Pop Hristov was a well known promoter of marijuana and the police was roundly criticized by legalization activists. The arrest cost Pop Hristov his job and he moved his family to South America.
