The Parliament dismissed Wednesday evening Finance Minister Dragan Tevdovski, Minister of Local Self-Government Suhejl Fazliu and Minister without Portfolio in charge of implementing the Framework Agreement Hazbi Lika. They were dismissed by a majority vote.

Apart from them, at the beginning of the parliamentary session, the resignations of Agriculture Minister Ljupco Nikolovski, Minister of Culture Asaf Ademi, Minister of Environment Sadula Duraku and the Minister without Portfolio Zoran Sapuric were confirmed.

Today’s debate on the proposed government reshuffle was held with sharp replies and contradictions between the opposition and the government. Apart from the policies of the Government, the MPs also confronted over capital investments, the Prespa Treaty and the European integration process of the country.

The opposition said that the reshuffle was wrong because efficient government ministers were dismissed, while ministers who have shown no results remained in the government. Opposition MPs demanded Zaev’s resignation from the prime minister’s post, forming a technical government and early parliamentary elections in October.
