President Gjorge Ivanov thanked Friday the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption for initiating a procedure to check his property.

President Ivanov says that he honestly entered politics and honestly will come out at the end of his second term.

We encourage the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption to act on this case. But we also encourage the Commission to act in the same way with all other state and public officials in the Republic of Macedonia, as in President Ivanov’s case, reads the statement of the President’s Office.

The State Commission for Prevention of Corruption informed Friday that it will check the property of President Gjorge Ivanov.
