VMRO-DPMNE spokesman Dimitar Arsovski warned that the Zaev Government, Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski and prosecutor Vilma Ruskoska are deliberately giving time to disgrace Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva to avoid her responsibility for the major corruption scandal she is involved in.

It’s day seven, a week has gone by and nobody knows where Katica Janeva is. Interior Minister Spasovski is pretending he has no reason to follow her, even as the greatest criminal political scandal we’ve seen is developing before our very eyes, a scandal in which Katica Janeva is directly involved with the two defendants. We have direct confirmation from prosecutor Vilma Ruskoska that Janeva was in contact with the defendant Boki 13 with regard to his extortion, and still nobody knows where Janeva is, let alone, have her detained and interrogated, Arsovski said during a press conference.

He noted that one of Janeva’s phones was reported missing by her, and still, according to state prosecutors this is not reason enough to detain Janeva and to stop her from potentially destroying evidence or intimidating witnesses.

Zaev, Ruskoska and Spasovski are deliberately giving time and space to Katica Janeva, but also to the two named top SDSM party officials, to run away from their responsibility. The public deserves answers, Arsovski said.

In the name of the largest opposition party, he called on Zaev to resign as Prime Minister, given his direct responsibility for the major scandal which includes high level racketeering and abuse of office by the judiciary.
