“Besa Trans”, the company that owns the bus that caught fire at the Struma motorway in Bulgaria, is registered in Kyustendil, Bulgarian media report after checking the country’s trade register.

The travel agency “Besa Trans” has been operating since 2011, and since 2019 its manager is Azdren Zuberi, a Macedonian citizen of Albanian origin. The company is headquartered in Kyustendil, but also has several offices in Skopje and other cities in Macedonia.

Meanwhile, a group of citizens, relatives and friends of the victims of the bus accident gathered in front of the company’s office in Skopje, worried about their loved ones.

The office has been secured by police officers since this morning.
