The judge in the pre-trial procedure ordered late Wednesday detention of former Ministers of VMRO-DPMNE, Spiro Ristovski and Mile Janakieski. They were arrested today afternoon in relation to parliament event on April 27, 2017. The former Parliament Speaker Trajko Veljanoski was also detained, but he left the court because invoked his parliamentary immunity.

The prosecutor’s office said that they are suspected of organizing the 27 April 2017 events in the Parliament. Prosecutor Vilma Russkoska said that the request for detention was due to the danger of escape, influence on witnesses and obstruction of the investigation.
