This year, we initiated disciplinary proceedings against five public prosecutors who committed violations during their work, said the state public prosecutor Ljubomir Joveski at Tuesday’s online meeting with journalists.

He pointed out that a prosecutor from the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Skopje, who was found to work unprofessionally, resigned, which was conformed by the Council of Public Prosecutors.

Joveski said that a Rulebook on monitoring the quality of work of public prosecutors and their evaluation has been adopted, which will improve the quality of work. “The work of each prosecutor will be evaluated separately, quantitatively and qualitatively,” said Joveski.
