The State Election Commission (SEC) ex officio today annulled the voting in the elections for mayor in the polling station 2266 in Stip, because the ballot box contained one ballot more than signatures in the excerpt from the voters’ list.

The members of the Commission counted the ballots and determined that there really is one more ballot. The Municipal Election Commission (MEC) and the Election Board (EB) have established the factual situation.

The members of the SEC did not accept the proposal of Elizabeta Postolovska, member of the SEC, for dismissal of the EB and the MEC due to am extra ballot in EB 2266.

Janakie Vitanovski assessed that the voting does not affect the results of the voting in Stip and that the MEC and the EB have taken all actions.
