Out of 3,399 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 1,342 new cases were registered in: Skopje-479, Kumanovo-52, Debar-20, Stip-45, Prilep-84, Tetovo-58, Struga-52, Veles-59, Bitola-83, Ohrid-49, Kavadarci-42, Gostivar-63, Gevgelija- 33, Strumica-29, Kriva Palanka-12, Radovis-12, Krusevo-5, Kocani-33, Probistip-10, Demir Hisar-2, Makedonski Brod-2, Pehcevo-2, Berovo-4, Valandovo-4, Vinica -4, Delcevo-22, Kratovo-7, Sveti Nikole-13, Kicevo-31, Resen-13, Negotino-18.
The Ministry of Health informed that 22 people died, including seven patients from Skopje (aged 70, 61, 73, 81, 62, 65 and 69), one from Kumanovo (aged 79), two from Stip (aged 81 and 78), four from Prilep (aged 84, 68, 69 and 79), one from Struga (aged 77), two from Veles (aged 72 and 73), one from Ohrid (aged 87), one from Gostivar (aged 71), one from Strumica (aged 67), one from Krusevo (aged 71) and one patient from Berovo (aged 86).
The Public Health Institute registered today 679 recovered patients from all over the country.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 65,231 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 41,656 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 1,847. At the moment, there are 21,728 active cases across the country.
