When answering inquiries from journalists on the status of the investigation into the disappearance of 14-year-old Vanja, Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski announced on Saturday that five people had been arrested in relation to the case.

Vanja Gjorcevska went missing on Monday, while she was going to her elementary school in downtown Skopje. Since then, no word has reached the public about the nature of her disappearance, which greatly disturbed the entire country.
