The Independent Union of Health, Pharmacy and Social Care and the University Clinic Union have reached an agreement with the Government and Minister Venko Filipce to increase the salaries of healthcare workers.

According to the agreement, specialists’ salaries will increase up to 25 percent as of February 1, professors’ salaries by 20 percent, general practitioners by 15 percent, paramedics 10 percent and other healthcare workers by five percent.
