Out of 2,824 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 1,100 new cases were registered and 30 passed away, the Health Ministry said on Friday.
Among the patients that passed away, 12 were from Skopje (aged 85, 68, 65, 59, 52, 73, 59, 78, 85, 68, 49 and 68), one from Kumanovo (aged 73), three from Prilep (aged 73, 63 and 73), one from Tetovo (aged 62), two from Struga (aged 57 and 64), two from Bitola (aged 62 and 67), two from Gostivar (aged 64 and 64), one patient from Strumica (aged 74), one from Radovis (aged 65), one from Krusevo (aged 80), one from Probistip (aged 76), one from Berovo (aged 58), one from Resen (aged 66) and one patient from Negotino (aged 66).
New cases were registered in: Skopje-439, Kumanovo-56, Debar-5, Stip-42, Prilep-52, Tetovo-58, Struga-29, Veles-27, Bitola-73, Ohrid-32, Kavadarci-51, Gostivar-68, Gevgelija- 5, Strumica-33, Kriva Palanka-15, Radovis-5, Krusevo-2, Kocani-23, Probistip-3, Demir Hisar-3, Makedonski Brod-4, Pehcevo-1, Berovo-1, Valandovo-1, Vinica -2, Delcevo-3, Kratovo-2, Sveti Nikole-17, Kicevo-16, Resen-10, Negotino-22.
The Public Health Institute registered today 585 recovered patients from all over the country.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 66,330 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 42,241 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 1,877. At the moment, there are 22,212 active cases across the country.
