Journalist Branko Geroski, who recently shared allegations that officials from the ruling SDSM party and a media outlet affiliated to them are engaging in racketeering of businessmen, warns that he is being threatened after his revelations.
They were unable to silence me with slanderous attacks through several fake news outlets, but now these racketeers are calling on the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the ZNM Association of Journalists of Macedonia, and claim that my series of articles itself is racketeering, Geroski writes in his Plusinfo news site.
He insists that he obscured the names of SDSM party official and media mogul, he only identifies as “Kiki” and “Koki”. Informed observers were able to quickly discern the people who Geroski says nearly scared a small hotel owner to death while demanding 200.000 EUR from him, were given a publicly owned lakeside piece of land, tried and failed to snatch another such property and took 200.000 EUR in bribes from a former Mayor in a Skopje district after threatening him with wiretaps held by the Special Prosecutor.
