The report on the dismissal of Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva has been submitted to the chairman of the Parliament’s Committee on Elections and Appointments, Ilija Dimovski, Xhaferi’s Office told Pressing TV.
Whether the folder with evidence in the “Racket” case will be reviewed behind closed doors or in public will be decided by the Committee, Xhaferi’s Office said.
I received the material as classified. Provisions for classified information will therefore have to be applied. I have no right to decide whether the session will be public or the SPO report will be reviewed behind closed doors. The Committee will decide. Tomorrow I will inform the public about further steps, MP Ilija Dimovski, chairman of the Parliament’s Committee on Elections and Appointments, told Pressing TV.
The procedure for Janeva’s dismissal began after the Council of Public Prosecutors unanimously decided that there were legal grounds for her to be dismissed.
