The Prespa Agreement does not impose a change in the name of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts, says academician Katica Kulavkova, adding that it is someone else’s interest MANU to become “Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of North Macedonia – MANU”.

Resistance is necessary to thwart the total entropy of the state and the Macedonian national institutions. Cancel the procedure for changing the name of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts. The Prespa Agreement does not impose a change of MANU’s name. It is someone else’s interest to do so, says academician Kulavkova.

The Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science and Sport will discuss today the Draft-law Amending the Law on the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts.

There is currently a clash at MANU between free-thinking academics and a group that, for ideological reasons or personal gain from the government, supports the positions of Zoran Zaev and the government.
