The Ramadan lockdown continues today, for a second day in a row. Citizens are ordered to remain in their homes, unless they are working in essential businesses or have permits.

The lockdown ends on Tuesday morning. It was introduced the prevent the large family gatherings over the end of Islamic month of Ramadan that could spread the coronavirus.  A similar, even longer lockdown, was in place for Easter.
