VMRO-DPMNE presidential candidate, Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, met with Mogila residents, where she spoke about the verdicts in the “27 April” case.

Macedonia today is happy that Igor Durlovski finally got the freedom and peace that were taken away from him nearly two years ago. But a sad day, because with 211 years of prison for 15 defendants Macedonians resembles a country that has serious problems with terrorism. I do not agree, of course, with this impression shared by my colleagues when asking about draconian sentences. What worries me the most is the fact that we, who practice law or some of us, often say that there is no greater injustice than belated justice, Siljanovska said.

She added that a person who practices law she hopes and believes that higher judicial instances, and, as she stressed, maybe the Strasbourg Court will really be guided by law and justice.
