Macedonian documentary Honeyland won the World Cinema Documentary Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival in the United States. While receiving the prize at the closing ceremony of the festival this morning in Park City, Utah, producer Atanas Georgiev called on the Government of Macedonia to solve the issue of air pollution in the country.
“Our small country is very polluted. We want to send a message to the Macedonian citizens and to the Government: Please clean the air in our country, the most polluted country in the world, please do it,” he urged.
