The Macedonian Journalists Association (MAN) condemns prime minister Zoran Zaev’s verbal assault
against an Infomax journalist during SDSM executive board’s media statements on Sunday evening. The prime minister claims that he is transparent, while he blames journalists for ordered questions. There are no awkward questions, there are questions that every elected or appointed official is obliged to answer in the interest of the citizens. Political pressure and threat are accusing the journalist that he asked an ordered question and made constructions, MAN says.
According to the association, the question of the Infomax journalist does not deviate from any rule contained in the IAB Code of Conduct and was related to the possibility of Koco Angjushev being fired and the level of reinvestment of the total number of foreign investments.
