VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski met in Zagreb with European People’s Party Vice President and until recently European Parliament Speaker Antonio Tajani, former MEP Marijana Petir as well as with CDU CSU’s Katja Leikert.
In Zagreb, I had a meeting with the Vice President of the European People’s Party and until recently President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani, a friend of Macedonia and a great supporter, former MEP Marijana Petir, as well as with Katja Leikert of the CDU CSU. We discussed the current problems in Macedonia, the problem of crime, the corrupt judiciary, and the stagnation of reforms. I sought support and deepened cooperation that would bring progress to European integration. Macedonia must rise above the low passions of the government, its bad policies and the populism that is a cover for their nervousness over the upcoming defeat, Mickoski informed about the meetings on Facebook.
