Dimitar Dimovski, a member of VMRO-DPMNE, told Bulgarian President Boyko Borisov that Bulgaria should apologize to the Macedonian people for all the suffering and oppression it caused during fascism.

Mr. Borisov, history (at least for the last three centuries) is a science based on facts and records compiled by the people who lived at the time. And those facts, and the documents, tell the only truth. Bulgaria was part of the coalition of fascist states during World War II and was a fascist occupier of Macedonia. A lot of Macedonian blood was shed from the hand of that occupier and thousands of Macedonian lives were taken. Those facts cannot be changed. But what can change is that Bulgaria to apologize to the Macedonian people for all the suffering and oppression it caused during that period, Dimovski wrote on Facebook.

The VMRO-DPMNE member responds to Borisov, who has threatened that they will not help Macedonia join the EU.
