Zoran Zaev and Hristijan Mickoski will meet tomorrow evening at the Government building, to discuss the coming presidential elections. The opposition demands guarantees that the elections will be free and fair, after Zaev’s Government refused to have early general elections at the same time, which would have added an extra layer of confidence building measures.
We will wait until tomorrow to see the requests, we will give our proposals and we will talk about it, Zaev said.
Zaev added that he expects that the talks will also focus on the European integration issues, so that Macedonia would be able to receive a positive recommendation to open EU accession talks this summer.
