VMRO-DPMNE leader, Hristijan Mickoski, together with International Secretary Vladimir Gjorcev and the member of the Executive Committee of VMRO-DPMNE Stefan Andonovski met Thursday with Olin Wettington, member of the Board of Directors of the International Republican Institute (IRI).

Mickoski expressed gratitude for the support that IRI gives in building strong democratic capacities of the country, emphasizing that such cooperation with increased intensity should continue in the coming period.

The interlocutors also discussed the current political situation in the country, with Mickoski stressing that the country is in a difficult situation and that with the convincing victory of VMRO-DPMNE in the local elections, the citizens decided that changes are necessary.

President Mickoski stressed that the elected mayors of VMRO-DPMNE have already started intensively implementing the promised projects in order to deliver results and achieve a better life for all citizens.

Mickoski added that changes must take place in the country in order to implement the reforms they promised to the citizens, saying that this is possible only by organizing early parliamentary elections.

The interlocutors emphasized the commitment to continue the cooperation in the area of strategic importance for the state and the citizens.
