Aleksandar Mitovski, the Infomax journalist against whom charges have been filed by the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Skopje, thanked for the support at the journalist protest and added that all pressures on media workers must be stopped.

First of all, I would like to thank all my colleagues because this protest is not for me or “Infomax”. We want to work honestly and with dignity. We have to stand together and say enough of all the pressures. This message is to silence the journalists, to abolish the freedom of speech, said Mitovski.

Today, journalists held a protest in front of the BPPO, where they said “respond with word, not with pressure, arrest and persecution”
