During my visit to Paris, I participated in the work of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights of the Council of Europe. One of the key points being discussed today is the implementation of the judgments of the European Court of Human Rights. One of the countries that least implements these decisions is our neighbor Bulgaria, which does not want to implement the decisions related primarily to the registration of the organization OMO Ilinden Pirin.

I have clearly stated that Bulgaria must respect the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights as well as the decisions of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in order for human rights to be properly respected, said VMRO-DPMNE Vice President, Aleksandar Nikoloski during his visit to Paris.

He added that during his visit to Paris, he will have meetings today in the Senate, as well as in the Parliament, where he will meet with French senators and MPs. During the meetings, he will ask Macedonia to get a date for the start of negotiations with the EU because the citizens of Macedonia deserve it.

The citizens of Macedonia must not be held hostage to the corruption and failure of Zoran Zaev. That should be resolved by the competent institutions, but Macedonia must start negotiations because Macedonia deserves it, and above all the citizens of Macedonia. Corruption and economic failures will be solved by the next Government led by VMRO-DPMNE, and the European perspective will be open to the citizens of Macedonia, said Nikoloski.
