This is a continuation of the terror and the pressure that this junta makes, VMRO-DPMNE vice-president Aleksandar Nikoloski says over the arrest of former Parliament Speaker Trajko Veljanoski.

This is an abuse of the judiciary and the police and is direct political pressure on opponents. They do this in installments, as their ratings fall, and it is a desperate attempt that has nothing to do with law and justice, Nikoloski said on TV Alfa’s Otvoreno show.

He added that many people’s lives are being ruined, and Prime Minister Zoran Zaev continues with pressure on different-minded people.

I have to tell him that things are changing and that they have to think about 10 times before doing something. I also think that this act is unconstitutional because Veljanoski is a MP and he enjoys immunity and without being stripped of his immunity, they can’t do anything, Nikoloski says.
