Following the revelation by Serbian media outlets that the 1.5 million EUR extorted from businessman Jordan Orce Kamcev ended up with one of Zoran Zaev’s advisers, the opposition called for answers from the Prime Minister. The report that the adviser, Serbian citizen Zoran Bashanovic, took the money, added to the direct links tying Zaev with the extortion scandal.
Serbian media also carried a warning from the main defendant so far, Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13, that he has evidence which can affect Zaev, and that it is guarded by his family. Kamcev recorded his meetings with Boki 13 and also reportedly placed a GPS tracking device into the bag he gave Boki, and is believed to have evidence about its movement.
What is this evidence which has raised suspicions about criminal activities on the part of the Zaev Government? Who was involved in this groups of criminals from Belgrade, who were brought to Macedonia and paid with our public funds? Where do the money bag politics end? Who divided the extortion funds? Is this why Zaev has suddenly cooled on Boki 13 and on Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva, who were his close associations and met with him frequently in the past? What does Boki 13 mean when he tells Kamcev, in one of the recorded tapes, that “Zaev is informed about everything?” These are the questions Zaev needs to answer. The fish rots from the head, said VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski during his press conference today.
