The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bujar Osmani, will address the MEPs tomorrow as part of the debate on the European Parliament’s resolution on Macedonia, MIA’s correspondent in Brussels reported.

Osmani is invited tomorrow afternoon to exchange views with MEPs members of the Foreign Affairs Committee, when the rapporteur for Macedonia, Ilhan Kyuchyuk, will present his report on the country’s progress.

The MEPs have several more days to submit amendments to this report, and tomorrow they will have the opportunity to ask questions to the Macedonian Foreign Minister, two days after Bulgaria’s veto on the start of Macedonia’s EU accession negotiations.

MPs are expected to be interested in Macedonia’s good neighborly relations, domestic reforms and foreign policy.

Kyuchyuk’s draft resolution, published by MIA a few days ago, welcomes the country’s EU integration efforts, encourages the authorities to make additional efforts in the fight against corruption, the rule of law, and welcomes the political dialogue between the government and the opposition.
