President Stevo Pendarovski and Major General Arben Kingji, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Albania, held a meeting on Wednesday, acknowledging the strong level of bilateral military and defense cooperation between Macedonia and Albania.
Major General Kingji’s official visit to North Macedonia is a testament to this collaboration, which both President Pendarovski and Major General Kingji expressed interest in further strengthening through open and constructive dialogue, as highlighted in a press release from President Pendarovski’s office.
The discussions centered around cooperation within NATO, considering both nations are full-fledged members and neighbors. The leaders expressed mutual expectations for continued collaboration, aiming to bolster regional stability and security, a vital aspect highlighted in the press release.
