According to initial data from a research conducted by the Commission for Infectious Diseases on herd immunity, the analyzed 920 samples for Skopje show very solid immunity based on vaccination.

Over 85 percent of vaccinated individuals have some immunity against Covid. We cannot talk about efficiency, but we can detect that it exists. Out of those 920, about 170 individuals were unvaccinated and they have over 70 percent seropositivity, ie we have a solid average of immunity there, the chairman of the Commission for Infectious Diseases, Aleksandar Petlickovski, informed at Wednesday’s press conference.

These parameters, he pointed out, will be considered at the next session of the Commission in terms of how realistically they could be applied and used in order to relax the restrictions.
