Protests under the motto “Zaev’s resignation, freedom of the people” were held Monday in 11 cities across Macedonia.

In Kratovo and Kriva Palanka, people took to the streets en masse to show their dissatisfaction with the rule of SDSM and the ruling mafia. They say they came to defend Macedonia from the enemies, who do not care about the state, referring to the leader of SDSM, Zoran Zaev.

The citizens said that this upcoming weekend Zaev together with the Bulgarian authorities will discuss the disintegration of Macedonia, and that they will not allow it.

They want to sell Goce, to make another marijuana deal or some other business deal. We will not allow that. It’s enough already! Leave the Government and liberate the Parliament and the Court. You are incompetent, and we have seen that for these four years while you were playing country. The people are fed up with your wrong and anti-state policies. Resign immediately! We demand the resignation of Zaev and his criminal government and freedom for the people!, demanded the people of Kratovo and Kriva Palanka.

Protesters in separate addresses demanded an immediate end to negotiations with Bulgaria and the resignation of members of the joint commission on historical issues.

VMRO-DPMNE MP Blagica Lasovska addressed the people of Sveti Nikole, saying that the foundations of the statehood of the Republic of Macedonia are the Ilinden people and the national liberation struggle of the partisan movement ASNOM and that no one has the right to deny these historical facts, especially not the one who should lead the Macedonian people to a better future.

As she pointed out, it is not a time for party squabbles, it is a time for national unification.

Our demands are clear and precise. Immediate resignation of this Government, headed by Zoran Zaev. Formation of a Government of national salvation, composed of experts, as well as unification of the entire Macedonian people and all citizens living in Macedonia, Albanians, Turks, Vlachs, Serbs, Bosniaks, Roma and others. Preservation and defense of the Macedonian statehood.

If we give up Macedonian history and identity now, we are consciously giving up our past and present, says the message sent from Gevgelija.

Zaev is the only politician who for the last 30 years has humiliated Macedonia and the Macedonian people, selling out the Macedonian interests.

The agreement with Bulgaria is a renunciation of Macedonian history, language and identity. Zaev wants to completely destroy the Macedonian state, VMRO-DPMNE and the people will not allow it. With Zaev, Macedonia only records defeats and failures, if we give up history and identity then it is the same as giving up our past and our present and our dignity that has no price, said MP Angelika Petkova.

Petkova stressed that the protests will continue in the coming period and asked for massive support from the people in order to stop the wrong and catastrophic policies implemented by the current government and Zoran Zaev.

At the protest in the municipality of Negotino, MP Zlatko Penkov demanded an apology from the government and Zaev for his views and renunciation of Macedonian history and identity in the interview with the Bulgarian national agency BGNES.

MP Antonio Milososki addressed his fellow citizens in Kicevo. He said that there are also people from Kicevo who are members of SDSM who are ashamed of the fact that a corrupt man is their leader and prime minister.

We see that economically, nationally, constitutionally and educationally, in every way Macedonia goes backwards, unfortunately instead of Zaev’s promises to take the country to European Paris, he got stuck in the Bulgarian Pazardzhik. At the expense of bargaining with the national dignity of the Macedonians, but also of all the citizens he manipulates, Milososki said.

The President of VMRO-DPMNE Strumica Zan Drvosanov at the protest in Strumica said that despite the numerous pressures, the people are determined to stand in the way of Zaev and his gang.

We send a strong message from the heart of Macedonia. We decided to stand in the way of betrayal, we will not allow them to break the Macedonian people, to erase the Macedonian language, to erase the Macedonian identity.
