Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov met with the delegation of Bulgarians from Macedonia who are visiting Sofia. The group also met with President Rumen Radev, who already held one such meeting.
The rights of the Bulgarians in Macedonia are an enormous priority for my Government, said Petkov, while also supporting the idea of admitting Macedonia to the EU.
Bulgaria demands that Macedonia changes its Constitution and adds the Bulgarian minority in its Preamble. At the same time, the country reacted angrily after Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski recently met with a delegation of Macedonians from Bulgaria.
