Skopje Mayor Petre Silegov approved a performance in the old Universal Hall this evening that will include girls portraying prostitutes in an attempt to raise awareness about violence against sex workers.
The concert hall is slowly decaying, left unused and without basic maintenance, as the city considers what to do with it. This is the only use it has been put to in years.
Organizers of the performance say they will transform part of the hall to resemble the Amsterdam Red Light district.
